Thlhyum nika shiks - Welcome my friends

   I do hope you enjoy a visit to my gallery of works. I have spent most of my life in southwest Washington, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas of this great country. (Although a bit damp at times.) Much of my work is inspired by my surroundings. My paintings are realistic, at least to my understanding of the term. Yet more and more I find I am painting a feeling, a collection of time, rather than a specific spot at a specific minute.
   I studied at The Art Center in Los Angeles and graduated from college here in Washington. I spent time as a teacher and a commercial artist. I paint in oils and watercolors. I am a member of the Chinook Nation and as such, I carve our traditional paddles in my own way.
   Again, I do hope you enjoy your visit.
